Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa signed a County Proclamation declaring April 2003 "Alternative Dispute Resolution Month."

This is our opportunity to remind the community that going to court is not the only way to settle your dispute. Mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, family conferencing and Ho`oponopono are just a few of the processes that people can choose from.
