“Meeting of the Minds” is a collaboration which includes: Family Court Judge Geronimo Valdriz, Child Welfare Services, Department of Education, Department of Health Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division, Department of Health Developmental Disabilities, and the Citizen’s Review Panel of Child Welfare Services. The group came together in September 2004 as a suggestion of the Maui Citizen’s Review Panel.
The group’s mission is to enhance coordination and cooperation between agencies serving abused and neglected children, other high- risk individuals, adults with disabilities, and parents served by the Family Court.
The Roadmap is a directory of services for Maui County compiled by Meeting of the Minds to strengthen this system of care and is available to the public. This document is regularly updated so please note the revision date.
This work is supported in part by the Victoria S. & Bradley L. Geist Foundation, the Atherton Family Foundation and Mediation Services of Maui.
